In June 2021 the New Hampshire youth soccer landscape changed significantly, therefore it was agreed that the club formerly known as Seacoast United North (SUN) would cease to operate effective January 1st 2022.
In order to better describe our geographic location (we primarily operate in the Lakes Region and northern counties of New Hampshire), as well as redefine our core philosophy as a community centric club, Northern NH Soccer Club (NNHSC) was born.
NNHSC has since severed any financial ties between these respective organizations and is no longer considered an ‘official’ full time branch of the Seacoast United Soccer Club pyramid, although we still recommend our players to their top tier programming (DA, MLS Next).
Clarifications:
● NNHSC is a part time, community club that operates only 3 nights a week out of Wolfeboro NH.
● NNHSC will continue to attend local and statewide games on the weekends (fall/spring), with a focus on player development (training) not games (2-1 ratio).
● NNHSC will attend 2 ‘weekend tournaments’ each year, and offer a manageable, inexpensive, winter indoor season (once a week for 20 weeks).
● NNHSC will run our own ‘End of Year Soccer Jamboree’ as well as community (grassroots) summer camps at The Nick in Wolfeboro.
● NNHSC will continue to recommend the ‘club player pathway’ to our more talented players and their families that request/require a more advanced, rigorous curriculum. More details can be found on our Player Pathway page, and/or our Peak Performers page.
● NNHSC will defer to our partners at The Coaching Manual in regards to any/all curriculum advice, and ongoing coaching education.
