Winter Training 2024-2025
Although we have over 70 talented youth soccer players in our U12, U14, and U16 pools this season, we’ve made the difficult decision to limit our winter training program to the 20 (twenty) most dedicated players and families in the region.
This decision is driven by several key factors...
First, we face significant space and time constraints, with limited access to the top-tier facilities necessary for quality training. Securing these facilities also comes at a substantial cost to the club, which adversely affects our pricing structure during the winter months, making it more challenging compared to other times of the year.
Furthermore, delivering top-notch instruction requires highly qualified and experienced coaches.
Unfortunately, during the winter months (especially here in New Hampshire), there is a distinct 'lack of' experienced soccer coaches with the expertise needed to guide our players at the highest level.
However, by focusing on a smaller, more committed group, we can ensure that each player receives the personalized attention and expert guidance they need to improve.
This approach allows us to maintain the high standard of training our players expect, while continuing to develop players who demonstrate the strongest dedication to our club.
Developing a sharp game IQ and receiving better preparation will provide players with a significant advantage as they progress to higher levels of competition. A strong understanding of the game, including tactical awareness, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to anticipate plays, will not only enhance their individual performance but also improve their ability to work effectively within a team. As players face more challenging opponents and faster-paced games, this advanced preparation will give them the confidence and skill set needed to succeed and stand out in elite-level competitions.
